What I stand for

As the new MP for East Coast Bays, my priority is to ensure we accommodate for growth in the electorate. My initial focus will be on:

• Delivering more classrooms for local schools, some of which are nearing capacity

• Advocating for better transport solutions

• Applying pressure to clean up the waterways that feed into local beaches

• Helping protect our marine reserve for future generations

• Preserving the precious green spaces in the electorate

I'm also committed to continuing my work with the many local environmental community groups… to muck in, to help and to promote the work being done. Therefore I'm really excited to be named the Associate Spokesperson for the Environment and look forward to getting stuck-in to my new role.

In my maiden speech, I noted that “our greatest treasure is this beautiful land, but we can take this for granted. It’s a priority for us to restore and protect this gift”.
