Are you going to be overseas during voting?

Let the Electoral Commission know

If you are going to be overseas during the election, it's really important you let the Electoral Commission know so they can make your voting papers available online.

CLICK HERE to update your details to advise that you'll be overseas. You need to go through the process of verifying yourself, then you will see a check-box "I will be voting from overseas".

The best way to vote from overseas is to download your voting papers from the vote.nz website, complete them, then upload them. A link to download your voting papers will be available on the vote.nz website from Wednesday 27 September. To download your voting papers, you must be enrolled.

You may also be able to vote in person at an overseas voting place. A list of overseas voting places will be available on the vote.nz website by mid-September.
